complimentary from k18biomimetichairscience: I love how this shampoo removes the brassy look from my hair. I like to keep the platinum blonde color and this helps. It also leaves my hair brighter. I don’t leave on very long to prevent a purple hue.

This purple shampoo has been really fun to use because of its foaming techniques. It doesn’t stain my nail beds as bad as typical purple shampoo. My hair took the violet tones very nicely, and I didn’t have any purple patches. This product was gifted by K18 Biomimetic Hairscience. I have color treated blonde hair and typically use a purple shampoo weekly as my hair pulls more brassy after coloring. The foamy texture of the product was interesting but I did find it a bit hard to get into my hair as it kept sliding off my hand and I would lose bits of it before I could get it applied. Once in my hair it did take quite a bit to cover the area needed. I do think I prefer a more thick shampoo texture as that feels like it coats my hair better. The experience while my hair was wet and lathered up was ok but once I washed it out it did feel like my hair was very tangly compared to how it typically feels. Post shower it was quite difficult to comb through even after conditioning. After my hair was dried it appears to have toned down the brassiness slightly but not as much as I'm used to seeing. My hair feels dry on the ends compared to how it usually does so overall I don't think this product is right for my hair type but it could work for others.

gifted by k18biomimetichairscience. Loved this purple shampoo!! It was sooo easy to use! I left it on for about 5 minutes and it really helped with my brazziness, it didn’t make my hair any dryer and frizzy, and it really applied pigment. Loved it!
