Alfred is a multi-hyphenate content creator, entrepreneur, educator, artist, stylist, and beauty engineer based in Chicago. His business, Innoval Inventions, serves graphic wig masterpieces, educational tutorials, and innovative products designed to push the limits of hair artistry.
Today, he’s sharing his K18 routine for preserving hair health as he pushes the limits of expression with graphic wigs.
“Wigs are not only a protective style, but a way to express your creativity and emotions externally. The whole purpose of wigs, beauty, and makeup is to transform yourself and make you feel something,” he says.

So how does Lewis keep his wigs healthy while performing such dramatic transformations—K18, of course!
“K18 has been a total game changer for me artistically. I put my wigs through the wringer sometimes—I use a lot of color which can be damaging,” Lewis says. “Now I use K18, so as I style and paint, the hair remains strong.”

First, Lewis gently cleanses with PEPTIDE PREP™ detox shampoo.
“It removes all of the buildup—oils, hair sprays, anything I put on,” he says. “I especially absolutely love using this on my toned blonde wigs because it's a color-safe shampoo so it's not going to revert hair and make it yellow.”
Lewis also loves it for his more vibrant wigs, “I feel safe knowing the shampoo won’t strip away the color.”
Next, he follows with one pump of the leave-in molecular repair hair mask.
“It reverses damage in just in four minutes,” he says. “It also helps the color last longer and helps strengthen the hair with continued use.”
Last, he finishes with molecular repair hair oil to smooth everything down and tame flyaways.
“I take about three drops to coat the hair, so I can add an extra layer of protection before styling,” Lewis says. “Plus, then you have 24 hours of frizz control and a 78% reduction in split ends which we absolutely need.”
Then, he’s ready to color, cut, and style—without worrying about damage.
