your FutureIQ™ questions, answered
What is FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum?
FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum is designed to address visible signs of premature hair aging, including shedding, early graying, lower density, and scalp aging. It is a lightweight, water-based hair and scalp serum—not a medical hair-loss treatment.
What is premature hair aging?
Premature hair aging refers to visible hair and scalp changes that appear earlier than expected, such as increased shedding, early grays, lower density, and signs of scalp aging. These are driven by a combination of factors, including environmental stressors such as UV exposure, pollution, and blue light, as well as emotional stress, hormonal changes, chemical exposure, and lifestyle habits. Together, these influences can accelerate aging in both the hair and surrounding cells by increasing oxidative stress at the cellular level.
What signs of premature hair aging does FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum target?
FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum targets visible signs associated with premature hair aging, including reduced hair fall or shedding, fewer visible grays, improved visible density, and scalp barrier support. The product is designed for people noticing early changes rather than severe or sudden hair loss.
Who is FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum best suited for?
FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum is best suited for people experiencing early visible signs of hair and scalp aging, especially those with less than 30% gray and minimal to moderate shedding. Sudden, patchy, or severe hair loss should be discussed with a dermatologist.
What kind of hair types does FutureIQ™ biomimetic hair longevity serum work for?
FutureIQ™ serum works on all hair types + textures, including straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair, experiencing signs of premature hair and scalp aging.
Will FutureIQ affect silk presses, blowouts, or other non-chemically straightened styles?
As this is a water-based serum, it may revert hair textures that have been straightened. If this is a concern, spot treatment around hairline and edges is recommended vs full head application.

"K18 is known for its biology-first approach. Everyone knows that we repair hair fiber. But we've actually been doing scalp research for several years now, and that research is finally getting into the consumer's hands so we can fight premature aging at the root."

"As a board-certified dermatologist, I'm always looking for products that are backed by science and address the underlying causes of hair concerns rather than simply masking them. FutureIQ™ stands out because it takes a scalp-first approach while leveraging K18's peptide technology to support long-term hair and scalp health. I've been impressed by its focus on creating an environment that supports healthier-looking, fuller hair over time, while still being lightweight enough for everyday use."

"Your scalp is skin. Full stop. It ages that same way, it responds to the same biological signals, and it has been completely ignored by the industry until now. FutureIQ™ brings the same preventative thinking to hair that we have always applied to the face. That is long overdue."
