To Our Community:

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. These are trying times that have affected us all.

I wanted to personally reach out to share updates about us as we navigate through the maze.

Our team has been working from home since March 16th in accordance with the California government’s stay-at-home order. We are fortunate to be able to continue shipping from our warehouse where procedures have been modified and conditions adjusted to keep safety standards above par.

We have taken actions to reduce spending. I made a decision to take a 50% cut in my salary and my leadership team has also taken significant salary reductions for which I can only express deep gratitude to them. We also made the difficult decision to furlough a few of our team members although they will maintain their health insurance and benefits throughout the furlough period. We have suspended/revised contracts with our consultants and vendors to generate savings. While we fully believe these tough decisions are in the best interest of our business and our team as we look forward, we are simultaneously forging new and exciting partnerships that can offset some of the revenue losses. My team has been working around the clock to execute these efforts and their passion is my biggest inspiration.

We recognize the substantial hardships our salon community is going through and even though we are a start-up ourselves, our team has made the bold decision to create the #HairArtistsUnite initiative where we are giving back 50% of our online sales to our salon community on a weekly basis. While this may not make a big difference, we believe every dollar helps.

Finally, I want to express my deepest appreciation for your ongoing support. Speaking on behalf of our entire team, we remain hugely optimistic and have faith that we will all come out of this crisis stronger, leaner and more focused. I deeply believe we will collectively emerge as better human beings, too.

Thank you for championing us.
